Where Patagonia meets the sea

Located next to the Strait of Magellan, Punta Arenas is a city with a port and livestock tradition that has several museums, beautiful viewpoints, and sailing points towards the magical landscapes of Tierra del Fuego.

A strategic location for Antarctic exploration, from here you can visit the San Isidro Lighthouse, the Francisco Coloane Marine Park, the Pali Aike National Park, among others. You can also sail to Magdalena Island and Marta Island, home to penguins, sea lions, and seagulls. Within the city, the impressive Municipal Cemetery and the Nao Victoria Museum stand out, a real-scale replica of Hernando de Magallanes’ ship.
