How to get there
How to get there by air
You must travel to Teniente Julio Gallardo Aerodrome in Puerto Natales (PNT), which has seasonal flights from Santiago. Another option is Punta Arenas Airport (PUQ), with a greater selection of flights. Choose according to the season. From the airport, you must rent a vehicle or take a bus to get to the park.
How to get there by land
If you are coming from Puerto Natales, take Route Y-290. Travel 115 km (1 hour 30 minutes) by bus or vehicle. If you are departing from Punta Arenas, drive 250 km to Puerto Natales on Route 9. You can rent a vehicle or use a regular bus for this section.
Must-Know Tips
Check the weather conditions for the days you plan to visit Torres del Paine, as there may be storms that do not allow you to leave your accommodation. Respect the flora and fauna, taking care of nature and not feeding the animals. You must review the park rules beforehand and follow the instructions of the park rangers during your stay.
