Santiago's green lung

The Metropolitan Park, dominated by the emblematic Cerro San Cristóbal, is the capital's main green lung and one of the most extensive urban parks in Latin America. Its more than 720 hectares offer you a natural escape in the heart of the city, accessible through trails, bike paths, or through a panoramic trip on the Cable Car or the historic Funicular.

Inside, it houses must-sees such as the Japanese Garden and the National Zoo, surrounded by forests and picnic areas. The visit culminates at the summit, where the Sanctuary of the Immaculate Conception and its viewpoints offer impressive panoramic views of the city and the Andes.
