Handicrafts, heritage, and Chilotan tradition

In Dalcahue you can discover the essence of Chilotan traditions. In its famous Artisan Fair you will find textiles in sheep's wool and basketry made of vegetable fibers such as manila and boqui, brought from the interior islands. Steps from this market stands the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, a World Heritage Site.

The journey continues in Chonchi, known as the "City of the Three Floors" for its streets built on natural terraces. Its historic center protects the San Carlos de Borromeo Church and the Museum of Chonchinas Traditions, must-see visits to delve into the culture of Chiloé.
