Home of the Hanging Glacier

Queulat National Park is one of the greatest treasures of the Carretera Austral and an unparalleled image of the force of nature. Its Ventisquero Colgante glacier stands out as its greatest landmark, with waterfalls that fall hundreds of meters above a lagoon of intense turquoise color, reflecting the ice that crowns the summit.

A walk of only three kilometers takes you to the glacier viewpoint. In addition, this ancestral territory of the Chono people has trails to the Enchanted Forest and Laguna Los Témpanos, where you could spot protected species such as the huemul and the black woodpecker.
