Get to know Pablo Neruda's house

Isla Negra embodies the spirit of the Poets' Coast. Its coast houses the Pablo Neruda House Museum, the favorite refuge where the writer lived with Matilde Urrutia and where today both rest in front of the Pacific Ocean.

The interior of the residence protects his most precious collections, such as figureheads, exotic shells, and ships in bottles. As you walk through its rooms, you can navigate through the imaginary world of the Nobel Prize winner, discovering his inexhaustible fascination with the sea and the origin of the verses that consecrated him worldwide.
