How to get there
How to get there by air
Land at the Atacama Desert Airport (CPO), which has direct flights from Santiago. Bahía Inglesa is only 20 km (20 minutes) from the terminal. You can take a taxi, transfer, or rent a vehicle to get to the beaches.
How to get there by land
Bahía Inglesa is only 6 km south of Caldera: you can get there in 10 minutes by taxi or colectivo. If you are coming from Copiapó, you will have to drive 85 km (1 hour) along Route 5. There are buses and transfers that connect these destinations.

In northern Chile, there is high solar radiation, so you should use sunscreen, glasses, and a hat to protect yourself from UV rays. It is also recommended to wear light clothing and stay hydrated.
