Day 1
Iconic places in Viña del Mar
Once in Viña del Mar, we will start our adventure with a visit to the iconic Flower Clock, one of the most famous postcards of Chile, located at the foot of Cerro Castillo. After taking pictures at the site, we will go to the coast.
Now you will walk towards Caleta Abarca Beach, where you can enjoy the climate and the sound of the Pacific waves. Afterwards, we recommend you have seafood at one of the restaurants in this area.
To end the afternoon, a 15-minute walk will take you to Wulff Castle. This impressive European-style construction offers panoramic ocean views and houses interesting temporary art exhibitions. It is the ideal place to admire the architecture and the coastal landscape before having an exquisite dinner.

On our second day we will travel to the iconic Reñaca Beach, the most famous resort in Viña del Mar. Known for its ideal waves for surfing and its lively atmosphere, here you can lie in the sun, take a dip and even practice water sports, as there are schools that offer classes and equipment rentals.
At noon, and after trying a classic seafood empanada, we will go to the Viña del Mar Botanical Garden, a natural oasis with native and exotic flora, ideal for a picnic and disconnecting. It is located about 8 kilometers from the center of Viña del Mar and can be reached by colectivo, bus or taxi.
Afterwards, we will return to Avenida Perú to contemplate an unforgettable sunset over the bay. And as a finishing touch, the Viña del Mar Casino offers you a night of entertainment with games of chance, live shows and a sophisticated gastronomic offer.

How to get there by air
To get to Viña del Mar by air, you must land at the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Santiago (SCL), the closest to the city. From there, you have a journey by land of approximately 90 minutes. At the same airport you can rent a car, take a direct bus or hire a transfer service that will take you comfortably to your destination.

From Santiago, the trip by bus or vehicle to Viña del Mar takes approximately 90 minutes. The attractions of the center and coastal edge of the first day are covered on foot. For longer distances such as going to Reñaca or the Botanical Garden, you can use colectivos, buses or taxis.
Climate and clothing
The climate is temperate, with warm summers and cool, humid winters. Dress in layers: light clothing, a night coat and a waterproof jacket. Do not forget sunscreen, sunglasses and comfortable shoes.
Must-Know Tips
Be careful with the swells; do not get close to the rocks if the waves are strong and always respect the signs on the beach. In crowded areas and on public transport, stay alert to your personal belongings.
