Day 1
Río Clarillo National Park and Viña Concha y Toro
Your day will begin with an hour and a half trip from Santiago to Pirque to reach the Río Clarillo National Park, one of the largest nature oases near the capital. There you will take an energizing trek along trails such as the Arboretum or the Quebrada Jorquera, enjoying an outdoor picnic.
Around 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM, leave the national park to head to your next stop: the historic Viña Concha y Toro, founded in 1883. The vineyard is located 25 minutes away, and there you can immerse yourself in the legend of the Casillero del Diablo, with a tour that will take you to its underground cellars.
In addition, you can enjoy a complete wine tasting to appreciate the quality that has made it world famous. We recommend trying the excellent gastronomy offered by the vineyard’s restaurant, with dishes designed to pair perfectly with its wines.

How to get there by air
From the center of Santiago, the Pirque area is about 45 kilometers away, a trip of approximately one hour by car. You can arrive by private car or taxi. To move between the park and the vineyard, it is recommended to have your own transportation or coordinate a tour.

Santiago Airport is the main gateway. From there, the Maipo Valley is about 45 kilometers away, making it a perfect getaway for those visiting the capital of Chile.
Climate and clothing
The climate is Mediterranean. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for trekking in the park. Consider dressing in layers, as temperatures may vary. For the vineyard, a casual outfit is appropriate.
Must-Know Tips
It is essential to book both the park entrance and the tour at Viña Concha y Toro in advance, as places are limited. Remember that you cannot drive after drinking alcohol, so you must maintain a designated driver or hire a guide.
