How to get there by air

Fly to La Florida Aerodrome (LSC) in La Serena. The air terminal is located just 15 minutes (approx. 7 km) from Avenida del Mar, the coastal hub. Upon landing, you can take an official transfer, a bus, or a taxi to get directly to the beach area or your accommodation in a few minutes.

How to get there by land

Explore the urban beaches along Avenida del Mar (La Serena) and Avenida Costanera (Coquimbo), which are connected to each other. You can get around by car, local public transport, or bicycle, taking advantage of the extensive bike path. To visit Guanaqueros or Tongoy, drive 30 or 45 minutes south on Route 5.

The summer season is busier, so it is recommended to book accommodation and flights in advance. The weather is generally sunny and mild, although the afternoons can be cool, so bring a light jacket. Use sunscreen and contribute to the conservation of the beaches: do not leave garbage and respect the fragile coastal ecosystem.
