Millennial araucarias and volcanic landscapes

Conguillío National Park exhibits the geological force of the Llaima Volcano over 60,000 hectares of Andean landscape. Its forests of ancient araucarias grow among lava fields and lagoons of volcanic origin, creating a unique visual contrast in the Araucanía Region.

An extensive network of trails will guide you through emblematic routes such as Sierra Nevada, Truful Truful and Los Carpinteros. Along the way, you will skirt the Captrén and Arcoíris lagoons, while listening to the beat of the black woodpecker or spotting condors on the peaks.
