Skiing next to the Linquimay Volcano
Corralco merges snow sports with the ancient araucaria forests of the Malalcahuello National Reserve. Located on the slopes of the Lonquimay Volcano, the center offers a skiable area of 1,800 hectares, with a snowpark and 26 slopes designed to enjoy the snow in a protected environment.
In the summer season, trekking routes to the geological Cráter Navidad and mountain biking circuits are enabled. In addition, the complex has lodging at the foot of the slopes and local gastronomy, also being located near thermal baths and sighting points for native fauna such as foxes and condors.

How to get there
How to get there by air
Fly directly to La Araucanía International Airport (ZCO), located 25 km south of Temuco. From there, you will need to travel about 120 km along Route 181 to Corralco, passing through Curacautín. You can complete the trip in a rental vehicle or private transfer.
How to get there by land
From Temuco, drive about 120 km along Route 181, passing through Curacautín and Malalcahuello, until you reach Corralco. The trip takes about 2 hours. You can do it in a rental vehicle or take a bus to Curacautín and from there coordinate transportation for the final stretch.
Must-Know Tips
Prepare for Corralco’s unpredictable mountain climate by dressing in layers. Always combine warm clothes with lighter garments for sunny days. If you are traveling in your own vehicle during the winter, remember that the use of chains is a mandatory requirement to travel the route safely.
