The active volcano of Antarctica

Deception Island captivates those seeking to visit Antarctica. Its unique horseshoe shape protects an exceptional microclimate: being located in the caldera of an active volcano, its interior waters do not freeze, allowing safe navigation to the very heart of the crater.

During your tour, you can observe fumaroles emerging from the black sand and ash beaches. In addition, the visit will allow you to tour the remains of the Hektor whaling station and ascend to the Neptune's Window, a natural viewpoint on the edge of the cliff that offers a privileged view.
