Ice Colossus in Torres del Paine

The Grey Glacier stands out as the main attraction in the western sector of Torres del Paine National Park. This enormous mass of ice originates in the Southern Ice Fields and advances 28 kilometers until it reaches the lake of the same name, where it breaks apart, forming blue ice floes that float in the water.

Its front walls reach 30 meters in height. To see them up close, you can sail by boat or walk on the ice with expert guides. These experiences require booking a full day, time needed to really connect with the immensity of the environment.
