How to get there by air
The only connection point is Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) in Santiago. From there, a 5-hour and 30-minute direct flight will take you to Mataveri International Airport (IPC). The air terminal is adjacent to the town of Hanga Roa, allowing a 5-minute transfer to your accommodation.
How to get there by land
You can easily explore the town of Hanga Roa on foot. To explore the rest of Rapa Nui National Park, you can rent a vehicle, motorcycle, or bicycle. It is essential to know that visits to archaeological sites are only allowed in the company of an accredited local guide or as part of a tour.
