How to get there

How to get there by air

Fly directly to Cañal Bajo Aerodrome (ZOS) in Osorno. From there, the hot springs are 75 km away. You can complete this section by hiring a transfer, taking a bus, or renting a private vehicle. The road follows Route 215, the main road to access Puyehue National Park.

How to get there by land

Start your adventure in Cochamó by taking Route V-69 south. This scenic road, which mixes gravel and asphalt, will take you about 40 km following the signs to the lake. You will arrive at the Punta Canelo Pier, where you can load your car onto the ferry to cross. Upon disembarking at Punta Maldonado, the route continues towards remote and pristine destinations such as Llanada Grande.

Bring waterproof and layered clothing, as well as trekking shoes. Cell phone signal is limited, so a map or GPS is very useful.
