Discover Chile's naval history
Talcahuano is one of the main military and industrial ports of Chile, where a rich naval past and an active coastal culture are mixed. Its greatest historical attraction is the Huáscar Monitor, a floating museum and relic of the War of the Pacific that remains anchored in the bay.
If you are looking for nature, the Tumbes Peninsula has trails that offer panoramic views of the ocean. Nearby, Caleta Tumbes invites you to enjoy fresh fish and seafood in an authentic fishing environment.
