How to get there
How to get there by air
You must travel to Punta Arenas Airport (PUQ), the main Antarctic hub. From there, you can take expedition flights (air) that land at Teniente Marsh Aerodrome (TNM), located at Frei Montalva Base (King George Island). The flight lasts about 2 hours and must be booked with a tour operator.
How to get there by land
There are no land routes. To arrive by sea, you can take an expedition cruise from Punta Arenas. You will sail through the Strait of Magellan and cross the Drake Passage to reach the Antarctic Peninsula. This journey lasts several days and requires advance booking, as places are limited.

Traveling to Antarctica requires careful planning and insurance that covers medical evacuation in remote areas. It is essential to have good thermal clothing, windbreakers, waterproof boots, and sun protection.
