How to get there
How to get there by air
You must travel to Diego Aracena International Airport (IIQ), which receives direct flights from Santiago (2 hours). From the air terminal, located 45 km away, take a taxi or a transfer service to reach the city center in 40 to 45 minutes.
How to get there by land
From Santiago, you must drive along Route 5 North, a journey of 1,800 km (24 hours without stops). You can make the trip in your own vehicle or take an intercity bus. If you drive, plan your stops. You can also access by land from Bolivia through the Colchane Pass, following Route 15-CH.
