How to get there

How to get there by air

You must land at La Serena’s La Florida Airport (LSC), with direct flights from Santiago (1 hour). The airport is 7 km from the center of La Serena (12 minutes) and 13 km from the center of Coquimbo (20 minutes). Upon landing, you can take a taxi or transfer to reach your accommodation in both cities.

How to get there by land

From Santiago, you must drive along Route 5 North for about 470 km (6 hours). You can take an intercity bus that arrives in both cities. If you drive, plan rest stops for safety. Consider that both cities are separated by a few km and are connected by Avenida del Mar.

At sea, remember that there are strong currents, so it is vital to respect the signs and instructions of lifeguards. In addition, take care of parks, beaches, and natural attractions: do not throw garbage or perform actions that damage the ecosystem and biodiversity.
