How to get there
How to get there by air
Your main options are Pichoy Aerodrome in Valdivia (ZAL) or La Araucanía Airport in Temuco (ZCO). From ZAL, the transfer is 80 km (1 hour 30 minutes). From ZCO, the trip is 130 km (2 hours). At both terminals, you can rent a vehicle or take a bus to get to Panguipulli.
How to get there by land
From Santiago, you must take Route 5 South and travel 830 km to the turnoff for Route 203. The trip by vehicle takes 9 hours, so you should take breaks if you are going to drive. You can also take an intercity bus from the capital, which takes between 10 and 11 hours.
