How to get there

How to get there by air

You must travel to the airport closest to your chosen hot spring: Carriel Sur (CCP) for Chillán; La Araucanía (ZCO) for Pucón; Pichoy (ZAL) for Los Ríos; or Cañal Bajo (ZOS) for Puyehue. All have direct flights from Santiago.

How to get there by land

Route 5 South is the main access from Santiago. You can take a bus or drive a private vehicle to the city nearest your destination. The distance varies between 400 km (Chillán) and 930 km (Osorno).

Must-Know Tips

Although some hot springs rent swimsuits and sandals, we suggest you bring your own. Wear warm and waterproof clothing, as rains are frequent even in summer. Bring a reusable water bottle and cash, as not all locations accept cards.
