How to get there
How to get there by air
The best option is to travel to the Pichoy Aerodrome (ZAL), which has direct flights from Santiago. This air terminal is located 32 km from Valdivia, and you will have to take a taxi, bus, or transfer to get there. Another option is the Cañal Bajo de Osorno Airport (ZOS), located 110 km (1 hour 45 minutes) away.
How to get there by land
From Santiago, you must drive along Route 5 South, a journey of 850 km (9 hours). Consider that the route includes tolls and that you must plan stops. You can take an intercity bus, whose journey lasts about 11 hours to the Valdivia terminal.
