The adventure starts from Puerto Natales, the base city for exploring the region. A short taxi or transfer ride of only 5 km will take you to the historic Puerto Bories, the starting point. From there, you will begin a 40-minute navigation through the Fiordo de Última Esperanza until disembarking at the estancia, where you will be greeted with a warm coffee and local delicacies.

Then, you can choose between a two-hour horseback ride or a guided trek through the fields of the property. Both options will allow you to appreciate the local flora and fauna and enjoy unique panoramic views. The excursion culminates at noon with the most anticipated reward: an authentic and exquisite spit-roasted lamb barbecue, slowly prepared in the traditional style.

How to get there by air

From Santiago (SCL), the most direct option is to fly to Puerto Natales (PNT). Note that these flights are seasonal and not always available. The main airport in the region, with flights all year round, is Punta Arenas (PUQ). From there, the journey continues by land by bus or rental vehicle.

How to get there by land

The starting point is Puerto Bories, 5 km from Puerto Natales, a short journey that you can take by taxi or transfer. Once at the estancia, transportation for activities (horseback riding or hiking) is fully included in the tour.

Climate and clothing

The weather is unpredictable. Dress in layers, always including a waterproof and windproof jacket. Wear comfortable pants (especially for horseback riding), sturdy shoes, hat, gloves, and sunscreen.
