The journey to the summit of Villarrica Volcano (2,847 m.a.s.l.) takes between 4 and 6 hours, depending on the weather and group conditions. During the colder months, it is possible to use the mechanical lift, which saves part of the initial journey.
At the summit, an open crater of 200 meters in diameter awaits you, from where you can see the active magma and a unique landscape that includes volcanoes such as Lanín, Llaima, and Osorno, as well as the lakes Villarrica, Caburgua, and Calafquén.
After the descent, enjoy a comforting dinner in Pucón, in restaurants such as La Maga or Bovinos, ideal for recovering energy with typical dishes from southern Chile.
