Day 1
Experience flying over Maitencillo
We will start our adventure enjoying a paragliding flight in Maitencillo. For this we will go to Cerro la Cruz, a few meters from the coast, where several schools offer tandem flights with expert instructors. Get ready to take off and enjoy an unforgettable panoramic view of the Pacific coast.
After your flight, we will go to Playa Blanca for lunch and then enjoy a well-deserved rest on its coast. Relax on its soft sands and contemplate a spectacular sunset over the sea.
When the sun hides on the horizon, let yourself be enveloped by the quiet nightlife of Maitencillo. Walk along the waterfront and discover its cozy bars and cafes, where you can hear the sound of the waves in a relaxed and bohemian atmosphere.

Day 1
Experience flying over Maitencillo

Day 2
La Campana National Park
Today you must get up early to visit La Campana National Park, a natural spectacle located about an hour and a half by car from Maitencillo. Wear comfortable clothes and head towards the Granizo sector in Olmué, where the main entrance to this Biosphere Reserve is located.
We will do the Sendero Plateu, a route of 2 to 3 hours (round trip) that will take you into the native forest to the historic Darwin Plaque. This viewpoint, visited by the naturalist in 1834, offers spectacular views of the valley and the imposing Cerro La Campana.
If you are looking for a greater challenge, you can trek to the summit, but you need to arrive at the park before 9:00 a.m. and an eight-hour hike of high difficulty awaits you. Regardless of the option you have chosen, end your day by returning to Maitencillo for a well-deserved rest.

What you should know
How to get there by air
You must land at the Santiago Airport (SCL), a city where you can rent a vehicle or take a bus to get to Maitencillo. It is a journey of approximately 2 hours on Route 5 North and then F-30-E. You can also get to Viña del Mar and then make a local connection by bus or colectivo.
How to get there by land
From Viña del Mar, Maitencillo is about 50 kilometers north on Route F-30-E, a journey of approximately 1 hour. There are intercity buses that connect both points. To go to La Campana National Park on this itinerary, you will need a private vehicle or hire a tour.
Climate and clothing
Maitencillo has a temperate coastal climate. It is recommended to dress in layers, including a windbreaker for paragliding and afternoons on the beach. Do not forget your swimsuit, sunscreen and comfortable shoes for walking.
