Drive 80 km to Parinacota, where its colonial church, declared a National Monument, awaits you. This small town surrounded by high-altitude landscapes is a must-see in the Chilean highlands.
Continue to Lauca National Park and Lake Chungará, one of the highest in the world. A short walk allows you to observe flamingos, vicuñas and Andean birds, immersing yourself in the biodiversity of the place.
At noon, continue 50 km to Putre. Here you can have a traditional roasted lamb lunch and explore this town with deep cultural roots. Finish the trip by returning to Arica on a three-hour journey, enjoying the last views of the highlands before concluding your adventure.
