The first activity will be an easy hike along the El Pionero Trail, a short circuit that will allow you a first immersion in its lush forests.
After the exercise, the day focuses on rest. Enjoy lunch at Termas de Puyehue, which offers various culinary options. Then, immerse yourself in its thermal pools, whose mineral-rich waters are perfect for relaxing the body and mind in an environment of luxury and comfort.

This day is dedicated to the wildest side of the park. Travel to the Anticura Sector, known for its volcanic slag landscapes and waterfalls. Here you will take an easy trekking route along the path that leads to the impressive Salto Gol-Gol, an impressive waterfall surrounded by native vegetation.
Continue your exploration along the Anticura Trail, which offers spectacular views of the river and surrounding forests. It is an ideal hike for bird watching and to appreciate the unique flora of the Valdivian forest, such as coigües and ulmos.
On the way back, you will make a stop in the Aguas Calientes sector for a well-deserved rest. Here you can have lunch in its picnic areas and relax in its outdoor hot springs, a more rustic option than the previous day. And finally, travel 20 kilometers to the town of Entre Lagos to discover its beauty and enjoy the local gastronomy.

What you should know
How to get there by air
From Santiago (SCL), you must take a flight to Cañal Bajo de Osorno Aerodrome (ZOS). At the airport you can rent a vehicle, which is essential to explore the park and its surroundings with complete freedom during the two days. Another option is to go to a tour operator and have a peaceful trip.
How to get there by land
From Osorno, Puyehue National Park is 80 kilometers away on International Route 215, a journey of approximately one and a half hours. The route is completely paved. A private vehicle is necessary to move between the different sectors of the park.
Climate and clothing
The climate is temperate and rainy. In summer the days are pleasant, but the nights are cool. Dress in layers and always wear a waterproof jacket. Trekking shoes are essential for the trails.
Must-Know Tips
Through pasesparques.cl, buy your ticket to the park in advance to avoid delays. Cell phone signal is limited or non-existent in much of the area, so plan your route. Don’t forget to bring insect repellent and sunscreen.
